VP9GE - Passports
Passports
If you are coming to Bermuda you will need a passport. In the past, USA visitors were not required to have one.
The majority of our visitors come from the USA, Canada and UK.

For processing times at the Department of State (USA), please check here (ignore the sections on Visitors Visas to the USA).
Fees - for the USA it will be from US$110 to US$145*.

* We recommend you get a Passport Book & not a Passport Card as the Card is not accepted the world over.
Did you know that only 42% of US citizens have a passport? 83% of UK citizens have passports.

For the UK it is from £82.50 (UK) to >US$244 (for applications made from overseas).

Canada - C$160 (Canada) to >C$235 (for applications made from overseas).
Additional information on boarding US domestic and international flights
In addition to your passport, photo ID such as a drivers' licence is required. HOWEVER:
Minnesota, Illinois, Missouri, New Mexico, Washington State and American Samoa drivers' licences will not be acceptable boarding ID in the USA.
Update: Most US states are changing their
drivers' licences, upon renewal, to newer high-security versions [notable by a star logo on them]
You will need to produce another form of photo ID if your state licence is not accepted by TSA security checks

For entry into Bermuda, please pre-fill an arrival card.
